Snake Bite Coffee Co is a small-batch independent roastery based in Beverley, East Yorkshire, founded in 2021 with a straightforward mission: to roast genuinely great speciality coffee without compromising on ethics or sustainability at any point in the chain. Every bean is hand-selected, ethically sourced from independent and green suppliers, and roasted in small batches with close attention to each profile — from honey-processed Kenyan single origins with tasting notes of plum and spiced pear, to smooth, well-rounded blends with milk chocolate and hazelnut.

The commitment to zero waste is taken seriously. Coffee grounds are donated to local individuals and community projects in Beverley and the surrounding area, where they are repurposed as garden compost, in beekeeping, and as natural exfoliants. Packaging is fully recyclable or biodegradable. The brand donates to meaningful charities each month. Snake Bite sources only from farmers paid fairly for their work, and maintains a traceable supply chain from farm to doorstep. This is speciality coffee done properly — for people who want to know exactly where their morning cup came from and feel good about drinking it.
