Sostter exists to champion independent brands doing things properly. But we also believe that the way we run our own business matters — that accountability to people and planet isn't something to outsource to a charity donation at the end of the year, but something to build into every decision we make. Here is what that looks like in practice.
New Sutton Night Watch
Where possible, dead stock and samples are donated to Sutton Night Watch - a dedicated organisation supporting and raising awareness for homeless people in the London Borough of Sutton and neighbouring regions. We also support local charitable endeavours by offering items for auctions and raffle prizes. Good stock should go to people who need it, not to landfill.
Smart Works
Smart Works is a UK charity that Sostter feels genuinely passionate about. They help vulnerable women find employment — and, just as importantly, find their confidence. Their approach is both practical and transformative: providing professional clothing and expert interview coaching to unemployed women preparing for job interviews. The results speak for themselves. Smart Works is one of the most energetic, rapidly expanding charities in the UK, and the work they do changes lives in ways that are immediate, measurable and real. Charity Registration No: 1080609.

Responsible Packaging
We are actively working to reduce our reliance on plastic packaging across our operations. Our commitment is to use eco-friendly packaging wherever possible — primarily paper and card — and we are continuously reviewing our processes to go further.
