Chino Club was founded in Australia in 2018 after a mum noticed the same thing on every café visit: adults drinking from reusable cups while their toddlers were handed single-use plastic with a lid and straw that barely fitted. The answer was a 4oz reusable babychino cup sized for small hands, designed for cafés, kitchen tables and everything in between, made from BPA-free materials with a stopper straw and a soft silicone lid. Chino Club UK distributes the range from Colchester, run as a family business on the same conviction the original was built on: that 500 billion single-use cups end up in landfill every year, and teaching children to choose differently is a habit worth starting early.

The range now goes well beyond cups. The 8oz smoothie cup covers older children. The Chino Charm range adds interchangeable lid charms so small people can personalise their cup and feel invested in actually using it. And the tableware collection brings food-grade silicone dinnerware sets — serving platter, plate and bowl — in matching prints that coordinate with the cups. Prints run from diggers and dinosaurs to unicorns and cowgirl patterns, designed to be chosen by the child using them rather than the adult buying them. These are the products that get pulled out of the cupboard first every morning, which is the only test that matters.
